Jillian Gordon Bucolo

Owner, Occupational Therapist

My motivation is promoting safety, wellness, and fulfilling engagement through real-life application of skilled education and training in familiar environments, at home and in the community, for greater outcomes.

I specialize in treatment of executive functioning deficits and memory impairment, providing training regarding task adaptation, and safety modifications to maximize accessibility and success in aging at home.

Notable achievements & certifications include:

~Maintaining the title of Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the Brain Injury Association of America

~Earning an Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) through USC’s Leonard Davis School of Gerontology

~Certification to deliver LSVT-BIG intervention for treatment of Parkinson’s Disease

Background:

I am an occupational therapist and the founder of Community & Home Independence Partners, LLC. Since graduating with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stockton College in 2011, I have been practicing across settings and with various populations.

My primary focus has been on adult neurological rehabilitation, delivering occupational therapy services as an inpatient and outpatient rehab provider. In these roles, I have gained experience working with individuals living in the community, transitioning home, and residing in community-based residential programs.

I have also practiced as a research interventionist focused on services for veterans / civilians / their caregivers living after traumatic brain injury as well as delivering home-based intervention for individuals with Autism and Down Syndrome & in various areas of pediatrics.
